The other side to Charlie Chidawanyika…!
What inspires me: Getting people to do things they otherwise wouldn’t.
What keeps me awake at night: Thinking about what I have to do tomorrow.
Strengths: I am direct and very focused.
Weaknesses: I go off on a tangent. I interfere a lot.
What drives me: Creating something, the ability to keep learning every single day. Everyday you should do something you don’t know how to do.
Greatest regrets: None. I am not a regrets-type person. In life you make good and bad decisions.
Pet hate: Laziness in others. People who do not fulfill their potential.
Favourite destination: That has to be Madrid (Spain) – It’s the best.
How I relax: I love to switch off. I relax best by watching soccer, cricket and travelling with my partner.
Role model: My dad. His voice in my head is what gets me out of bed at 4 a.m. everyday.
Least favourite personal characteristic: Impatience with life. I wish it could go a bit faster. I get very impatient with middle lane drivers.
What makes me laugh: Life. I am sorrounded by such a great bunch of people – they work hard but have a good time. Fun is one of our values.
The worst thing that has ever happened to me: I ‘lost’ my mom at a very tender age and I never get the chance to feel the mother’s love everyone talks about.
The first thing I do in the morning: I open my eyes and then close them again and crawl back into bed.
What I love about myself: The way I deal with people and my amazing personality. I’m unforgettable, no one who meets me forgets me.
I always wanted to meet: Robert Gabriel Mugabe. I love the way he’s always such a hero.
In fifteen years time: I see myself somewhere but I dont know where exactly. I certainly will be running international organisations, happily married with hopefully two kids… That will be a fulfilment of some of my dreams.
Favourite saying: Plenty of time to sleep when you are dead.
